I wanted to create a "nest Kos," featuring a support made from a seemingly chaotic accumulation of elements, yet driven by an underlying logic. The base rests on five contact points with the table, while its center is hollowed out to receive the Kiddush cup. This oblong glass cannot stand on its own; it relies entirely on this structural "nest" for its balance.

The vessel can be easily detached, passed from hand to hand during the Kiddush, and then effortlessly placed back onto its support — as if settling into a small structural nest. Using several dozen meters of tubing, I built this base by soldering each segment one by one, following a load-bearing logic. The structure is designed to offer maximum stability to the vessel, even when full, thanks to five contact points arranged to ensure balance on any flat surface.

As a unique piece, this one-of-a-kind specimen is impossible to reproduce identically and required dozens of hours of work.

The structure is crafted from silver-plated brass, while the glass itself is made of 925 sterling silver.
