Oblong + The Frame
My signature Oblong glass is unstable—like the entire collection. Here, it is paired with a highly graphic, removable frame where it comes to delicately rest.
Suspended at the heart of this angular structure, the cup appears to be levitating. Crafting this minimalist frame required numerous precise solders to assemble each segment and distribute the load. Thanks to three rigorously adjusted contact points, the piece offers maximum stability on any flat surface, even when the glass is filled.
Entirely handcrafted in 925 silver in Israel, these cups are plated with 24K gold on the inside. Each Kiddush cup is welded and shaped in my workshop in Jerusalem, making every piece unique.
The frame structure is crafted from sterling silver and brass, finished with a silver plating.
This is a limited series of 9 Kiddush cups.
