Crimping the void

This work is about the spaces of the body. Inspired by the long-necked Kayan women, I began questioning the purpose of jewelry—whether it serves merely as an object of beautification for the body or if it can be something more. Could jewelry exist to highlight the empty spaces around the body, rather than adorn the body itself? Through this exploration, I sought to redefine jewelry as not just an accessory, but as a medium to interact with the void, creating tension between form, function, and the space that surrounds it.
