This ring is the result of a week-long exchange between Bezalel Academy and IBS: the Jewelry Institute of Saumur in France. Under the supervision of Einav Benzano, we were tasked with creating a piece of jewelry around the concept of transmission. Gaëlle and I thought about conveying our passion and craft—jewelry making/goldsmithing for me, and high jewelry and setting for her. We chose an uncut stone and a wave-like form, as it seemed to us that transmission is never linear. The corps of the ring features a variable thickness. It was an absolutely fascinating week, and we created everything from sheets of silver.
